During the last ten years the production sector and industrial development changed significantly. Boundaries between countries, markets, and business segments are blurring. New market demand such as individualisation, sustainability and flexibility dominate the manufacturing process. Robots, augmented reality, and 3D printer simplify the working life and make the process more agile and transparent. All this affects the supply chain from supplier to customer. In other words the transformation of Industry 4.0 changes logistic, production, and the way of communication. Through the development of new technologies and the steady decreasing acquisition costs of the technologies, Industry 4.0 gets tangible for more and more companies as well as private individuals. This talk will explore how does the fourth industrial revolution impacts the Supply Chain Management Strategies
